Photography and Mobilization

攝影與動員

Photography plays an important role in mobilizing the masses during the wartime in China (1937-1949). Jin-Cha-Ji Pictorial, a CCP-sponsored propaganda magazine, was first published on July 7, 1942. The use of photography was instrumental in the dissemination of nationalist ideologies and the cultivation of patriotic sentiments among the masses.
