Sha Fei was one of the earliest Chinese photographers to depict the traumatic war experience and the ruins of modern China. His photographs introduced themes of traumatic experience with the goal of constructing a collective memory of the war's atrocities, uniting the public opinion behind one political party.

沙飛是最早描寫戰爭創傷經歷和現代中國廢墟的中國攝影師之一。他的照片引入了創傷性經歷的主題,目的是構建對戰爭暴行的集體記憶,將公眾輿論團結在一個政黨背後。
