Huang Temple.
In 1683, the Kangxi Emperor of the Qing dynasty paid an inspection tour to Mount Wutai and shot a cruel tiger in the area on his way back. After that, the place was renamed Shehuchuan (or "shooting tiger") village. An imperial residence was built in the area for successor emperors of the Qing Dynasty to visit Mount Wutai, which later became Tailu Temple.
