Sha Fei and Wartime Photography

Cheng, Fangwu (成仿吾)  

1897-1984

Chinese educator, revolutionist, writer and one of the main members of the Creation Society(華北聯大校長、邊區參議會議長)

Cheng Fangwu was a top level Party elder who cut his teeth at the beginning of the long march, responsible for education of the Chinese Red Army and the party apparatus from the mid-1930s to the end of his life. Earlier in the 1920s he was active as an author of the new literature and a translator.
